FIRST FRIDAY IN DOWNTOWN SILVER CITY

Back side of Common Ground Gallery
A balmy 15 degrees already... Were's my swim suit? I guess that its all relative. Compared to -5, it is balmy. Well.... Sounds like the worst of it has passed. Supposed to be back to business as usual by tomorrow.
  • Lots of logistical problems
  1. gas outages,
  2. power outages,
  3. broken pipes.
Be aware! water pipes, electrical systems, natural gas systems are not magic and subject to failure.   Actually... it takes a very big machine to provide these services to us. Respect these systems... let your water drip.... If you suspect a frozen pipe, think about turning off the water to make sure there is no breaks.   Another philosophy, that is of a higher order, is to be prepared and to get off the machine. Being hooked up to the machine makes you vulnerable and basically a slave to the machine. We must get off. SOLAR, and SELF SUFFICIENCY.
Meanwhile... respect these systems. These resources are coming from somewhere and its not limitless and its not magic.
