Fires Cause Smoke and Threaten to Cross into New Mexico

Arizona Department of Corrections Officer M. Montemagno stands by a roadblock into a residential section on  State Route 260 in Eagar, Ariz. The neighborhood was evacuated because of the Wallow Fire
Winds are expected to weaken today.... This should help gain control of the fires blazing in eastern Arizona. Well it didn't seems as smoky yesterday as it was the day before. Evenings have been cooling off nice around 50 degrees at the moment.
This morning light smoke with a strong smell of campfire are in the air. Still pretty cool. It would be absolutely perfect if it weren't for the smoke.
The weekend is upon us Rejoyce

Today's Weather
Sunny, with a high near 84. Northwest wind between 5 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
