    FIRST ANNUAL NEW MEXICO TAMALE FIESTA.  10 am – 4 pm. Broadway St. in historic Downtown Silver City.  A variety of tamales from local tamale vendors, New Mexican and traditional beverages and desserts, tamale tasting contest and family fun for everyone. 10 am: Opening ceremony. 11 am: Mariachi music performed by Corazon del Desierto.
