will be offering a children’s activity and the history of chocolate.

Wren, M.Ed. veteran astronomer with the McDonald Observatory, Ft. Davis,
Texas will offer an absorbing program illustrating common-sense
solutions for night lighting that saves energy, increases safety, and
reduces light pollution. Also discuss how to speak to a neighbor who has
an offensive light.

Sundown to 9 p.m. The observatory is located in the roll-off roof
building just behind the Orion Group parking area across from Park
restrooms. $5 day pass per car load. Hosts regular astronomy
observations through 14-inch telescope with astronomer Matt Wilson.
Discussion of seasonal constellations, the Solar System with visible
planets and their moons, offer observations on deep sky objects. Contact
