Pinos Altos Volunteer Fire Rescue Open House. 10 a.m. to celebrate the addition to the station
at its Wagon Wheel Lane Station. Take Little Walnut Rd north of Silver
City. Proceed past the Little Walnut picnic grounds, where the road will turn
to dirt. Follow Little Walnut Rd past Cleveland Mine and Owens Rd, and then
turn right onto Wagon Wheel Lane. The station is approximately 1/4 mile on the
left. There will be a presentation on defensible space and lunch provided
by friends of Pinos Altos VFR.
Craft Class: Native American Rattles. 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (noon), Silver City
