Temps did get pretty cool last night...Predicted to be windy for the next couple of days... after that only breezy..

  • Today Sunny, with a high near 78. Windy, with a west wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph.
  • Tonight Clear, with a low around 54. Windy, with a northwest wind 19 to 24 mph decreasing to 11 to 16 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

Gila Native Plant Society will sponsor a field trip to RailroadCanyon in The Black Range and may include points along the way. 8:00 a.m. in the south parking lot of the WNMU Fine Arts Center. NMWild’s 15th Anniversary Lobo Birthday Party. 2 pm. Little Walnut East Picnic Area, six miles north of SilverCity on Little Walnut Road. Special guest speaker, Dave Parsons, carnivore conservation biologist with The Rewilding Institute and former USFWS Mexican Wolf Recovery Coordinator. Music by the SilverCity String Beans.
