Were not exactly in Kansas, but I think we are still dreaming. The Silver City Action plan hits the streets. Unveiled at a community meeting last night to a sparse house at the Historic Silco theater. Most of the attendees were Silver City Mainstreet Board members. The community has been talking about this for, at least a little while on the message boards. (see here) Boy!! After reading the fourm seems like we sure have a lot of enlightened people here in Silver City!!
New words... or at least new to me; "community by design" and "cultural planning". Should culture evolve out of interest of the villagers or tribe? I guess its kind of like the chicken and the egg thing. Well $10,000 later we now "have a plan" and its in our hot little hands.
