    Grant County Commission Board Work Session. 10 am.  Grant Co Admin Center, 1400 Hwy 180E.

    IMPLEMENTATION AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEETINGS (re Arizona Water Settlement Act). 10am.  Fort Bayard Room, Grant Co Business and Conference Center. Debbie Hathaway will make a presentation on the SS Papadopulos model and suggest future steps needed to utilize it. The proposals will also be presented to Craig Roepke for submission to the Interstate Stream Commission at its next meeting.  (note change of venue from usual mtg place).
     AARP Widowed Persons Service meeting.  11 am, Western New Mexico University Cafeteria in Silver City.   Elsie Roman will talk about the history of the Mimbres Valley.$10 includes lunch and program. 538-9344.
    BROWN BAG LUNCH SERIES:  Native Americans of Southwest New Mexico & Southeast Arizona.  12 pm. Silver City Museum Annex, 302 W Broadway. Presentation by Maury Shortt, professor of American History at WNMU who has a Masters in Interdisciplinary History/Art from WNMU, with an emphasis on History of the Southwest.
