Sunday Morning

Brown smoke hung in the horizon in Silver City for most of the day yesterday. Smoke from the Horseshoe 1and 2 fires has been impacting air quality in our area for the last little couple of weeks. Still waiting for the rain... The monsoonal rains made a brief appearance a few days ago. Arrival of the monsoons usually means an end to fire activity....Richard

Today's Weather
Sunny, with a high near 87. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 9 to 12 mph increasing to between 17 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
