Calendar For Friday October 7
  WNMU Presidential Inauguration.  Inauguration ceremony for Joseph Shepard.  The public is invited.  3:30 pm at the WNMU Fine Arts Center Theatre, Silver City.
   Weekend at the Galleries.  Also October 8 & 9.  Kick-off event includes “When Pigs Fly” art sale and exhibit, as well as Wine & Beer Tasting.  5 to 8 pm at the Seedboat Center for the Arts, Yankie & Texas Streets, Silver City.
   First Fridays – Silver City Museum.  Museum open until 8 pm, 312 W. Broadway, Silver City.
5 to 7 pm in the Courtyard:  Family Acitivities – Storytelling & Outdoor Games.
7 to 8 pm in the Museum Annex: “River Girl”, for MATURE AUDIENCES, the 3rd of 15 one-act plays of the New Mexico Ghost Play Cycle by Victoria Tester.
    First Fridays Downtown –  Galleries and shops open late.  Street dance with The Roadrunners 7 to 10 pm on Market Street between Bullard and Texas, Silver City.  534-1700.
