  • Today Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Windy, with a west wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph.
  • Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 27. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 17 to 22 mph becoming north 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

Adult Basic Literacy Training.  Silver City Public Library, 515 W. College Ave. Two full days of training (2/22-2/23).  Learn basic tutoring skills, strategies, comprehension, and how to assess your learner’s needs.  Refreshments and lunch provided.  Training is free, but space is limited.  Call for registration and more information 575-388-0892.  Trainees must attend both days!
The Walkability Accessibility Advocacy Group (WAAG) and the Bicycle Advocacy Group (BAG). 9:30 a.m. Silver City Public Library, 515 W College Ave. A planning session to garner input regarding the town’s draft Bicycle Routes Plan and Pedestrian Routes Plan. 
Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance. 12 p.m. (noon) - 1 p.m. at the Silver City Recreation Center, 1016 N. Silver St. Based on traditional Tai Chi, this program works for all people.
