Artist Reception: "Old Masters" Exhibit  03:30pm - 05:30pm  The Grant County Art Guild's 2013 tribute to the master painters is a show by accomplished member artists recreating, in the style of the Masters, famous works of art. "Creatures of the Maya" Audubon Program   07:00pm  Julian Lee’s presentation, "Creatures of the Maya: Amphibians and Reptiles in the Religious and Secular Life of the Maya," is based upon his many years of research on the biota of the Yucatán Peninsula of southeastern Mexico, northern Guatemala and Belize.  Lee is author of The Amphibians and Reptiles of the Yucatán Peninsula, and A Field Guide to the Amphibians and Reptiles of the Maya World. Light refreshments served after the program. SWNM Audubon monthly meeting - 7pm, WNMU, room 219 Harlan Hall, corner of Alabama and 12th St. The public is invited to the monthly meeting of the Southwest New Mexico Audubon Society to hear a presentation by Dr. Julian Lee on "Creatures of the Maya, Amphibians and Reptiles in the Religious and Secular Life of the Maya". Light refreshments are served after the talk. Free and open to the public.
