 Farmer's Market Season Starts TODAY!!!  Bike Works Community Bike Ride: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m... Kids Circus and Parade. Starts @ 10:30 a.m... Should be a great day!!!  Maybe some Rain!!!

Bike Works Community Bike Ride: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Meet at our main (Root) Shop behind the Recreation Center at 10am if you need to borrow a bike or helmet or need a quick adjustment. Meet at our new Downtown (Branch) Shop at 10:30am if you're ready to roll. Bring water, plans for lunch, and a sense of exploration. Astronomy Observation. Sundown until 9 p.m. The City of Rocks, located in Grant County 33 miles south of Silver City. Friends of the Silver City Library Second Saturday Book Sale.  9am-1pm.  1510 Market Street, Silver City.  Kids get a book free if it contains the word or color "Yellow".

Primitive Pottery and Pit Firing Workshop Hand built Bowls with Slip Decoration.  Saturday 11 May 10am - 4pm (bowl making) and Sunday 12 May 6pm - 10pm (pit firing), Asher's homestead in Mimbres, NM 88049.  Create a Southwestern Style bowl in the ancient way with Primitive Potter, Anotonia Young.  Each student will finish the two day class with a finished bowl, which can be safely used as a food dish, and if cared for can be used for a lifetime.  All levels of experience are welcome.  Cost: Sliding Scale $50- $100.  See https://sites.google.com/site/ashergen/home/workshopsagelbart@gmail.com to register or call 575-574-7117

The 1st Annual Kids’ Parade and Circus.  Those taking part will meet at Gough Park by 10:30 AM. There we will organize and make our way on 13th Street, turn left on Pope St, thence to College, left again to Hudson, left again to 13th, left again to Gough Park.
