Silver City CLAY Festival Tour: Historic Mining District Tour with Terry Humble. 9:30am- 12pm. Meet at Murray Ryan Visitor’s Center at 201 N. Hudson St., Silver City. $10. jessa@clayfestival.com.
Free line dance lessons. 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Grant County Business and Conference Center. Two beginning classes will be offered weekly. Line dance is a low impact aerobic exercise which benefits almost everyone including those with diabetes and arthritis. Students are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes that will not “stick” to a smooth floor. Contact Carolyn Havens at 538-9326.
A quiet reflective Service of Vespers in the Celtic tradition. 5:30 p.m. Good Shepherd Episcopal Church [Texas & 7th, Silver City entrance off parking lot off 6th]. Remembrance of modern "saints" of all faiths. Bring a little something if you can to share for a Potluck dinner following.
