     STAKEHOLDER GROUP MEETING
(re Arizona Water Settlement Act).  10am. Grant County Administration Center.
    Silver City Woman’s Club.  10:30 am, Woman’s Club, Silver Hgts Blvd.  An ‘Italian Feast’ for $8 to benefit scholarship fund. 
    WNMU FOUNDERS DAY CELEBRATION.  11am-1pm, WNMU Hunter Hall.  Commemorating the 118th birthday of WNMU.  With a welcome by WNMU President Dr. John Counts and the reading of the act that established WNMU as a Normal School in 1893. Miller Library staff  present a brief history of WNMU. Following the program, a red chile and cornbread meal cooked by area alumni will be served along with purple and gold birthday cake. Outside of Hunter Hall in the Alumni Gardens a “W” piƱata will be on display.  Open to students, alumni, faculty and staff. All attending are encouraged to wear purple or gold.
    Veterans’ Healing Clinic.  12-4 pm, St Mary’s Center, Marian Hall, 1813 N Alabama St.  For all vets and their families.  Hosted by Veterans health Allioance.  Free introduction to min-treatments.  38804870;  vnanez@yahoo.com.  Second Fridays. 
    Fourth Annual Spaghetti Supper.  3:30-7 pm, Silver High Cafeteria  $6 per plate.  Spaghetti with meat sauce, breadstick, brownie, salad.   For high school chess team.  538-9532

   Taize Worship Service. 5:30 pm, Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 7 & Texas Sts.  Sung prayer, alternating w/ spoken scripture readings, spoken prayer and silence.  Also prayers for healing.  A Christian ministry of reconciliation and wholeness.  Open to all.  538-2015.
