IMPLEMENTATION AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEETINGS (re Arizona Water Settlement Act). 10am. Grant County Administration Center. The goal of the session is to refine a list of proposals to utilize 14,000 average annual acre-feet of water and/or $66 million for water- related projects up to $128 million for a New Mexico Unit comprised of an infrastructure project or projects.
Grant Soil and Water Conservation District. 4 pm, NM Forestry Office, 2610 N Silver St. 388-1416.
RECEPTION FOR SEN. TOM UDALL. 5 pm, Red Barn Restaurant. Light refreshments. All welcome.
Reception for the New Library Director Eileen Sullivan. 5:30-6:30 pm. SC Public Library meeting room. Sponsored by Friends of the Silver City Public Library. Public invited.
Town of Hurley regular meeting. 6 pm, Hurley Town Hall, 101 Cortez Ave.
